This past weekend was a dream for any skateboarder in the tristate area. NYC and NJ was filled to the brim with skateboarding's most elite riders, photographers and industry leaders. The annual street league competition held in Newark NJ gave us the privilege to skate and hang out with pro's that usually would not see on the east coast. Here are some of the photos from the events the were taken place. Enjoy.
Giovanni Reda kicked off weekend on Friday night with a photo expo.
Reda has been a very prominent figure in the skateboarding community for the last twenty years.
He has photographed some of the best of the best to come out of the east coast skate scene and still does to this day. even if you have not seen his work I'm sure you've heard is voice on EA skate.

On Saturday diamond shoes graced the skate park of Hoboken with a demo.
The best part was everyone got to skate with the pros.
Last but not least on Sunday to end off a great weekend
the street league contest commenced at the prudential center in Newark NJ.
